Homemade Strawberry & Mango Smoothie Recipe

This post definitely clings to those last few dregs of summer, as excited as I am for autumn! Read on if you want to recreate this simple recipe I made with my little sister.

First of all, you'll need to get your ingredients: for two smoothies, we used a punnet of juicy strawberries, a ripe mango, and we decided to add two scoops of sweet vanilla ice cream for creaminess. After slicing the green tops off the strawberries, we put them in the food processor, and went on to slice up the mango by cross hatching it, and cutting off the cubes. Once the mango was in the food processor, too, we added the scoops of ice cream, and whizzed the whole thing up.
We poured the mix into our cups from Ikea - mine is white and my sister's is pink - and we were done!

I promise you, it tastes a lot better than it looks

  2. It looks delicious! I made something similar this summer but with raspberries, I'll have to recreate this before I start on the flavoured hot chocolates :)

    1. Good idea! Yours will probably turn out smoother than mine as it was done in a processor xx
