Eggs-Quisite Chocolate Nests With A TWIST

I'm sure you all know of this crunchy treat: chocolate coated crispy nests topped with mini eggs, perfect for Easter. Well, here's how to do them better than ever before...

THE USUAL WAY: (as photographed above)
I melted a large bar of Cadbury's chocolate and stirred it in with crunchy cornflakes. After I had spooned the mixture into muffin cases and topped them all with mini eggs, off they went into the fridge to set and eat later.

Of course, everyone knows how to do that, but here are some more ways to jazz up your chocolate nests that you may not have thought of...

THE UNUSUAL WAY:
It would sort of defeat the object of brown nests, but try mixing it up and use white chocolate for a whole new taste.

THE CHEWY WAY:
Melt down mars bars and stir them in with the basic mixture to create a deliciously chewy nest, and then sprinkle tiny chunks of the bar itself on top of the nest too!

THE CREMEY WAY:
If you are a creme egg lover like me, experiment by melting a creme egg or six into the mix, or you could stick a halved one on top of each nest.

THE TWIGGY WAY:
Snip up chocolate Matchmakers and add them to the cereal and melted chocolate for a very real looking nest, or added taste if you use flavoured Matchmakers like mint or orange.

They're all my adaptations of the basic Easter nests, which one do you like the sound of best?
